Moo Money can display the financial data you approve, but it cannot move money, make transfers, change your accounts, or place trades.
Information travels over encrypted connections. The connection key used to keep your approved accounts updated is also encrypted.
We do not sell personal or financial information or use your financial activity for targeted advertising. Moo Money is supported by subscriptions, not advertisers.

Connecting an account
Moo Money receives the financial information you choose to share. Your bank username and password are not part of what Moo Money receives.
You select your financial institution and choose the accounts you want to share.
You authenticate through Plaid or directly with your financial institution. Your bank login is not shared with Moo Money.
Moo Money receives the balances, transactions, holdings, liabilities, and other information you authorized. An encrypted connection key keeps that approved connection updated.
Account protection
Protect your login, keep financial connections secure, and understand who can see information in your household.
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. It adds a temporary code from your authenticator app after your password, helping protect your account even if someone learns your password.
Every member signs in separately. Household members can access the household's accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, investments, liabilities, notes, attachments, and other shared records. Only invite people you trust.

Your data, your choices
You decide how long an institution stays connected and what happens to supported information already in Moo Money.
Disconnect an institution whenever you want. Moo Money will stop retrieving new information from that connection. You can keep supported history for manual tracking or remove it.
Download supported financial information, such as transactions, for your own records.
Request deletion of your Moo Money account and associated information from your account settings whenever you choose.
