I know I’m being nervous, but…

  • USAToday columnist Joe Brancatelli advises to book a flight early in the day to get the best chance of an on-time arrival. Flying later in the day and the odds of delays increase dramatically. The pattern isn’t a quirk, at the major hub airports. U.S. airlines operate best first thing in the morning and worst near the end of the day. The first flights out generally run on-time. Here are some statistics about the two hubs serving Waco.

You’ll arrive on-time nine times out of ten before 11 a.m. After 7 p.m., however, performance skids about 25 points.
